UPPERCLASS BOYS SELECTION PROCESS
For boys players entering 11th & 12th grades in Fall 2027 (2028 & 2029 Grads)
STEP 1: APPLICATIONS
Players must submit an official Application to be considered for a spot at the Garden State Cup Training Camp
Early Application Fee (ends Nov. 1st 2026) : $29
Regular Application Fee (ends Mar. 1st 2027): $49
Late Application Fee (ends Apr. 1st 2027): $75
STEP 2: INVITATIONS
We will invite up to 120 players to the Garden State Cup Training Camp. Invitations will go out starting April 1st, 2027.
STEP 3: TRAINING CAMP
Compete at Training Camp Monday June 14th
*Players attending Showtime, or whose teams are in the Kirst Cup are exempt from Training Camp (these players still must submit official application to be drafted)
STEP 4: THE DRAFT
Our four coaching staffs will draft their teams from Training Camp
STEP 5: THE GARDEN STATE CUP
The four teams will compete Wednesday July 21st for the Garden State Cup Championship!
ABOUT TRAINING CAMP
Training Camp is an invite-only evaluation session for the top players in New Jersey to compete for spots on a Garden State Cup team. Teams for this Division are NOT tied to geographical regions.
Up to 120 players will be invited to Training Camp. From that, up to 88 players will be drafted, plus alternates.
To be selected to attend Training Camp will be a prestigious honor in itself. Those 120 players will have the opportunity to compete against the best in the state in front of college coaches.
Training Camp will be coached and evaluated by the GSC team coaching staffs, NCAA coaches, NJ HS Coaches and alumni.
THE PROCESS
Players must submit an official application and pay the application fee based on the above fee schedule.
All players invited to Training Camp will pay the $349 Garden State Cup fee to secure their spot at Training Camp.*
*If you are NOT drafted to a team you will receive a 100% REFUND of your $349 payment.
For all players who get drafted, the $349 is applied to the Garden State Cup tournament and is non-refundable.
If you no-show to Training Camp you may refunded your $349 minus a $100 no-show fee.
For players drafted, the $349 includes 5 Games, 1 Practice, Custom Regional Team Apparel Pack, Coaching, College Coaches, Profile Picture, Opening Ceremonies, A Championship Experience

At the High School level, we will use the following selection process to select the best players:
